POLICE FORCE AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (No. 4) 1997
Made under section 9 by the Commissioner of Police with the approval of the
Minister.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Police Force Amendment
Regulations (No. 4) 1997.
Regulation 618 amended
2. Regulation 618 of the Police Force Regulations 1979* is amended -
(a)
by deleting "A" and substituting the following - " (1) Subject to subregulation (Z), a "; and
(b) by inserting the following subregulation - &L
(2) The Commissioner of Police may in writing authorize a member or cadet to keep premises for the sale of intoxicating liquor or to be directly or indirectly interested in the management or control of any such premises if -
(a)
the premises have been approved by the Commissioner;
(b)
the member or cadet is a member of the Western Australian Police Social Club (Inc.); and
(C) the premises are owned or leased by that Club.
