Police Force Amendment Regulations
(No. 3) 2005

Made by the Commissioner of Police, with the approval of the Minister, under section 9 of the Act.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Police Force Amendment Regulations
(No. 3) 2005.

2.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Police Force
Regulations 1979*.

3.             Regulation 621 amended

(1) Regulation 621 is amended as follows:

(a)	before “A member” by inserting the subregulation designation “(1)”;
(b)	by deleting “after having been ordered by the Commissioner to cease such trade, business, profession or employment.” and inserting instead —

“

without the approval of the Commissioner or a

commissioned officer.

”.

(2) At the end of regulation 621 the following subregulation is
inserted —

“

(2) The approval under subsection (1) must be given in accordance with, and subject to, any instructions or directions issued by the Commissioner.

”.
