Police Force Amendment Regulations
(No. 2) 2000

Made by the Commissioner of Police, with the approval of the Minister for Police under section 9.

1.             Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Police Force Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 2000.

2.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Police Force
Regulations 1979*.

3.             Regulation 704 amended

(1)	Regulation 704 is amended by inserting before “Where” the subregulation designation “(1)”.
(2)	At the end of regulation 704 the following subregulation is inserted —

“

(2) The Commissioner may delegate to an officer of the
rank of Superintendent or higher the power conferred
on the Commissioner under subregulation (1).

”.
