An Act to Amend “The Police Acts, 1937 to 1955,” T he P olice A cts A mendment in a certain particular. A ct op 1957. [A ssented to 11 th N ovember , 1957.] E it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, B by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lativeAssemblyof Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— Short title* 1. (1.) This Act may be cited as The Police Acts Amendment Act of 1957.” Principal (2.) *“ The Police Acts, 1937 to 1955,” are in this Act. Act referred to as the Principal Act. Collective (3.) The Principal Act and this Act may be title. collectively cited as The Police Acts, 1937 to 1957.” Amendment 2. Subsection two of section twelve of the Principal of s. 12 (2). Act is amended by adding thereto the following paragraph :— “ This subsection does not apply to any employment in which a member of the Police Force, suspended from duty without pay by the Commissioner, engages (whether on his own behalf or as a servant or agent) with the prior approval in writing of the Commissioner, during that suspension.” * I G. 6 No. 12 and amending Acts.
