[ASSEN'l'ED TO 30TH NOVEMBER, 1911.J B E it enact.ed by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,. by ancl with the advice and consent of the Legis-· lative Oouncil and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same,. as follows :- 1. This Act may be cited as "The Police Acts- Amendment Act of 1911." Rights 00 2. The deduction from the pay and salary of every t 8 b u n perannua· member of the Police Force who was appointed after the allowance, first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and &c., of certain eighty-nine, and before the thirteenth day of November. members of one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, of a sum at the force. the rate and of the amount' fixed by section twenty of ." Tile Police Act of 186a,"* as amended by section three of " The Police Act of 1863 Amendment Act (If 1891,"t is hereby declared to be and to have always been a lawful &nd proper deduction. But, save as aforesaid, every person who was appointed a member of the Police Force after the first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine,. and before the thirteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, shall in every respect have and be entitled to, and be deemed to have always had and been entitled to, the rights and privileges with respect to superannuation allowance and gratuity conferred by and under "The Po/ice Act of 1803"* in the same manner as if "The Police Act of 1863 Amendmenf.
