Poisons List Amendment Order 1998

I make the following order under section 15(1) of the Poisons Act 1971 .13 March 1998

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Poisons List Amendment Order 1998 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 19 March 1998 or on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette, whichever is the later. 3Principal OrderIn this order – (a) the Poisons List Order 1984 is referred to as the Principal Order; and (b) the Poisons List set out in Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is referred to as the Poisons List. 4Amendment of Poisons ListThe Poisons List is amended as follows: (a) by omitting each of the items listed in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this order; (b) by inserting in numerical order each of the items listed in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this order in the relevant Schedule to the Poisons List according to the initial figure of those items; (c) by substituting each of the items listed in Part 3 of Schedule 1 to this order for the item on the Poisons List with the same number. 6090S.	Dicamba (including its salts and derivatives) except when included in Schedule 5.
6225.	Nitric acid (excluding its salts and derivatives) except –
(a) when included in Schedule 5; or
(b) in preparations containing 0.5% or less of nitric acid (HNO3).
