Poisons List Amendment Order 1998

I make the following order under section 15(1) of the Poisons Act 1971 .13 March 1998

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Poisons List Amendment Order 1998 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 19 March 1998 or on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette, whichever is the later. 3Principal OrderIn this order – (a) the Poisons List Order 1984 is referred to as the Principal Order; and (b) the Poisons List set out in Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is referred to as the Poisons List. 4Amendment of Poisons ListThe Poisons List is amended as follows: (a) by omitting each of the items listed in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to this order; (b) by inserting in numerical order each of the items listed in Part 2 of Schedule 1 to this order in the relevant Schedule to the Poisons List according to the initial figure of those items; (c) by substituting each of the items listed in Part 3 of Schedule 1 to this order for the item on the Poisons List with the same number.
