Poisons (Declared Restricted Substances) Order 1998

I make the following order under section 36 of the Poisons Act 1971 .17 February 1998

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Poisons (Declared Restricted Substances) Order 1998 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal OrderIn this order, the Poisons (Declared Restricted Substances) Order 1990 is referred to as the Principal Order. 4Schedule 1 amended (Substances to which section 36 of the Poisons Act 1971 applies) Schedule 1 to the Principal Order is amended as follows: (a) by inserting after item 18 the following item:

18A. 

Clonazepam.

(b) by inserting after item 21 the following item:

21A. 

Dextropropoxyphene (S4).

(c) by inserting after item 22 the following item:

22A. 

Diethylpropion.

(d) by inserting after item 43 the following item:

43A. 

Midazolam.

(e) by inserting after item 52 the following item:

52A. 

Phentermine.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
