His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Regulation 2008 to increase the number of persons who can be supplied with liquid methadone or buprenorphine for the treatment of drug dependence at a retail pharmacy each day.
This Regulation is made under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966, including sections 24 and 45C
(the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Amendment (Supply by
Pharmacists) Regulation 2018.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Amendment of Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Regulation 2008
Clause 92 Supply by pharmacists of liquid methadone or buprenorphine
Omit “50” from clause 92 (1). Insert instead “65”.
