His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to continue in force provisions requiring certain records to be kept by authorised practitioners and details to be included on certain prescriptions, in relation to partners of patients being treated for chlamydia, that would otherwise cease to have effect on 1 January 2018.
This Regulation is made under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966, including sections 17 (1) (g) and (h) and 45C (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Amendment (Records of
Partners) Regulation 2017.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 15 December 2017 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.
3 Amendment of Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Regulation 2008
(1) Clause 35 Form of prescription Omit clause 35 (8).
(2) Clause 56 Records to be kept of certain supply of restricted substances Omit clause 56 (3).
