An Act to amend the Poisons and Drugs Act 1978

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:
Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Poisons and Drugs (Amendment) Act (No. 3) 1994.
Commencement
2. This Act commences on 18 December 1994.
Principal Act
3. In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Poisons and Drugs Act 1978.1
Interpretation
4. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting “recommended by the National Health and Medical Research Council” from the definition of “Drugs and Poisons Standard” in subsection (1) and substituting “published by the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council”.
