AN ORDINANCE

*To amend the Poisons and Dangerous Drugs

Ordinance 1933.

BE it ordained by the Deputy of the Governor-General in and Federal Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred over the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the by the Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of
Government (Administration) Act 1910-1933, as follows:—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Poisons and short title

Dangerous Drugs Ordinance 1936. aad citation-

(2.) The Poisons and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance 1933 is in

this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Poisons and Dangerous Drugs Ordinance 1933-1936.

omitting sub-section (1.) and inserting in its stead the following0 a n a y s s 2. Section nine of the Principal Ordinance is amended b y Appointment

sub-section:—

"(1.) The Minister may appoint any person—

(a) who is a Fellow or Associate of the Australian Chemical

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

Institute; or

(b) who, in the opinion of the Minister, holds qualifications equivalent to those required for admission as a Fellow or Associate of that Institute,

to be an analyst for the purposes of this Ordinance.".
