I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Poisons Act 1971 .6 May 2015

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Poisons Amendment Regulations 2015 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Poisons Regulations 2008 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 70 amended (Prescription, &c., of certain substances prohibited, unless authorised by Secretary) Regulation 70(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by inserting in paragraph (a) "for human use" after "acitretin"; (b) by inserting the following paragraphs after paragraph (a) : (ab) alefacept for human use; (ac) ambrisentan for human use; (c) by inserting in paragraph (d) "for human use" after "clomiphene"; (d) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (d) : (da) corifollitropin alfa (recombinant follicle stimulant) for human use; (e) by inserting in paragraph (e) "for human use" after "cyclofenil"; (f) by inserting in paragraph (f) "for human use" after "dinoprost"; (g) by inserting in paragraph (i) "for human use" after "etretinate"; (h) by omitting paragraph (l) ; (i) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (m) : (ma) lenalidomide; (j) by inserting in paragraph (n) "for human use" after "(S4)"; (k) by inserting the following paragraphs after paragraph (n) : (na) macitentan for human use; (nb) riociguat for human use; (l) by inserting in paragraph (o) "for human use" after "sitaxentan"; (m) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (o) : (oa) teriparatide for human use; (n) by inserting in paragraph (p) "for human use" after "thalidomide"; (o) by omitting from paragraph (q) "use." and substituting "use;"; (p) by inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (q) : (r) urifollitropin (otherwise known as follicle-stimulating hormone) for human use.
