s1 2 s4 Poisons Amendment (No. 5) No. 418, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Poisons Amendment Regulation (No. 5) 1994 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Poisons Regulation 1973 . ˙ Amendment of s A1 (Definitions) 3. Section A1.01, definition ‘Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Drugs and Poisons’— omit, insert— ‘ “Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Drugs and Poisons” means the book titled ‘Standard for the Uniform Scheduling of Drugs and Poisons’ compiled by the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council and published by the Commonwealth.’. ˙ Amendment of s A2 (Adoption of Standard) 4.(1) Section A2.01— omit, insert— ‘ Standard to be adopted ‘ A2.01.(1) In this section— “relevant edition” of the Standard means Edition No. 9. ‘ (2) The relevant edition of the Standard is, subject to sections A2.02 to A2.07, the Standard for the scheduling of drugs and poisons. ‘ (3) If the relevant edition of the Standard is amended, the amendment does not take effect for the purposes of this regulation unless this regulation otherwise provides.’. (2) Section A2.06, from ‘Schedule 3’ to ‘administration.’’— omit.
s5 3 s5 Poisons Amendment (No. 5) No. 418, 1994 (3) Section A2.06, from ‘Schedule 7’ to ‘therapeutic use.’’— omit . ˙ Amendment of s B3 (Camphor and naphthalene) 5. Section B3.01— omit, insert— ‘ B3.01. A person may package for sale, or sell, camphor or naphthalene in ball, block, disc or pellet form for domestic use only if it is enclosed in a device that prevents removal or ingestion of the camphor or naphthalene during normal use.’.
