2182 Poisons Amendment (No. 3) No. 345, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Poisons Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Poisons Regulation 1973 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.A2 (Adoption of Standard) 3. Section A2.06— omit, insert— ‘A2.06 For the purposes of this regulation, each of the Schedules specified in the following Table is modified in the way specified in the Table— ‘Table ‘Schedule 3 ‘1. omit NICOTINE in chewing tablets containing 2 mg or less of nicotine per tablet for use as an aid in withdrawal from tobacco smoking. ’. ‘2. insert— Nicotine in any of the following forms for use as an aid in withdrawal from tobacco smoking— (a) in chewing tablets containing 2 mg or less of nicotine per tablet; (b) in roll-on packs containing 0.65% or less of nicotine for percutaneous administration. ’. ‘Schedule 4 ‘3. omit SOLASODINE ’. ‘4. insert Alkaloids and alkaloidal glycosides of plants of the genus Solanum for human therapeutic use. ’.
