s1 2 s5 Poisons Amendment (No. 2) No. 69, 1996 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Poisons Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 1996 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Poisons Regulation 1973 . ˙ Replacement of s A2.03 3. Section A2.03— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Dangerous drugs, poisons and restricted drugs ‘ A2.03.(1) A substance in schedule 8 is prescribed as a dangerous drug for all purposes of the Act. ‘ (2) In addition, for the definition “drug dependent person” in section 5 of the Act, a substance in schedule 9 is prescribed as a dangerous drug. ‘ (3) A substance in schedules 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 or 9, or appendix C of the Standard, is prescribed as a poison. ‘ (4) A substance in schedule 4 is prescribed as a restricted drug.’. ˙ Amendment of s M2.01 4. Section M2.01, ‘a dangerous drug or a restricted drug’— omit, insert— ‘a substance in schedule 4 or 8’. ˙ Amendment of s M3.01 5.(1) Section M3.01, ‘a dangerous drug or a restricted drug’— omit, insert— ‘a substance in schedule 4 or 8’. (2) Section M3.01, ‘such dangerous drug or such restricted drug’—
