POISONS ACT 1966 - REGULATION
(Relating to the record and labelling of certain substances)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Poisons Act 1966, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 24th August 1990.
Amendments
2. The Poisons Regulations are amended:
| (a) | by omitting from the list of substances in Regulation 33B (1) the matter ''amyl nitrite;", "butyl nitrite;" and "octyl nitrite;"; |
| (b) | by inserting in the list of substances in Regulation 33B (1), in alphabetical order, the matter "miconazole;"; |
| (c) | by omitting from the list of substances in Regulation 41A(1) the matt er "follicle stimulating hormone; "; |
| (d) | by inserting in the list of substances in Regulation 41A (1), in alphabetical order, the matter "urofollitrophin (human follicle stimulating hormone) ,". |

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Poisons Regulations so as:
(a) to apply record and labelling requirements set out in the Regulations to miconazole and to remove amyl nitrite, butyl nitrite and octyl nitrite from those requirements; and (b) to provide that the prescription, supply or administration of the substance "urofollitrophin (human follicle stimulating hormone)" must be done by a person authorised by the Director-General of the Department of Health to prescribe, supply or administer the substance. The substance "follicle stimulating hormone" is removed from those requirements.
