POISONS ACT 1966—REGULATION
(Relating to references to the Director-General of the Department of Health)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Poisons Act 1966, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Poisons Regulations are amended:
| (a) | by inserting in Regulation 2 in alphabetical order the following definition: |
‘‘Director-General” means the Director-General of the
Department of Health.
| (b) | by omitting from the Regulations the word “Secretary” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the word ‘‘Director-General”. |
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Poisons Regulations so as to
remove inconsistencies in references to the head of the Department of Health.
