POISONS ACT 1966—REGULATION
(Relating to application fees and annual licence fees for licences to manufacture
and supply drugs of addiction)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Poisons Act 1966, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 30 September 1994.
Amendments
2. The Poisons Regulation 1994 is amended:
(a)
by omitting from clauses 142 (3) (b) and 146 (1) (b) the matter “$360” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the matter “$365” ;
(b)
by omitting from clauses 142 (4) (c) and 146 (2) (c) the matter “$180” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the matter ”$185”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to increase the application fee and annual licence fee for licences to manufacture drugs of addiction from $360 to $365 and to increase the application fee and annual licence fee for licences to supply drugs of addiction from $180 to $185.
This Regulation is made under the Poisons Act 1966, including section 45C (the
general regulation-making power) and section 24 (1) (f).
