POISONS ACT 1966—REGULATION
(Relating to application and licence fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Poisons Act 1966, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 30 September 1992.
Amendments
2. The Poisons Regulations are amended:
| (a) | by omitting from Regulations 4 (3) and 5 (3) the matter “$40” |
wherever occurring and by inserting instead the matter “$45”;
| (b) | by omitting from Regulations 49 (3) (a) and 51 (3) (b) the matter |
“$35” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the matter
“$40”;
| (c) | by omitting from Regulation 49 (3) (b) the matter “$330” and by inserting instead the matter “$360”; |
| (d) | by omitting from Regulation 51 (3) (c) the matter “$165” and by inserting instead the matter “$180”. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Poisons Regulations:
(a) to increase the application and annual fees payable for licences to supply substances specified in Schedule Two of the Poisons List; and
(b)
to increase the application fees payable for licences to supply drugs of addiction; and
(c)
to increase the fees payable for licences to manufacture and supply drugs of addiction.
The increases do not affect the fees payable by charitable organisations.
