POISONS ACT 1966—REGULATION

(Effecting amendments by way of law revision)

NEW SOUTH WALES

[Published in Gazette No. 103 of 5 July 1991]

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Poisons Act 1966, has been pleased to make the

Regulation set forth hereunder.

J. P. HANNAFORD
Minister for Health and Community Services.

The Poisons Regulations are amended by omitting from Regulations 43 (1) (f) and 53 (1) (h) the words “Health Administration Corporation” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the words “Ambulance

Service of New South Wales”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Since the commencement of the Ambulance Services Act 1990 on 1 July 1990 certain functions previously exercised by the Health Administration Corporation in relation to the provision of ambulance services in New South Wales have been exercised by the Ambulance Service of New South Wales constituted by that Act.

The object of this Regulation is to mend the Poisons Regulations so as to substitute references to the Ambulance Service of New South Wales for references to the Health Administration Corporation in the relevant Regulations.
