I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, on the recommendation of the Minister for Health and Community Services and in pursuance of section 8 (6) of the Poisons Act 1966, do, by this my Proclamation, amend the Poisons List as set forth in the Schedule hereunder with effect on and from 24 January 1992.

SCHEDULE
The Poisons List is amended:
| (a) | by deleting from Schedule Two the entry relating to MEFENAMIC ACID; |
| (b) | by deleting MEFENAMIC ACID from the list of excepted entries immediately following the heading to Schedule Three; |
| (c) | by deleting MEFENAMIC ACID from Schedule Four and from the list of excepted entries immediately following the heading to Schedule Four; |

by omitting from the headings to each of Schedules One to Seven inclusive the matter “AMENDMENT Nos. 1 and 2” and by inserting instead the matter “AMENDMENT Nos. 1, 2 and 3”;
(e)
by deleting from Schedule Seven the entry relating to SELENIUM and by inserting instead the following entry:
SELENIUM except:
(a)
when included in or expressly excluded from Schedule 5 or 6;
(b) as selenium arsenide in photocopier drums; or
(c) in preparations for therapeutic use.
(f) by inserting in Schedule Seven in appropriate alphabetical order the following entries: ABRUS PRECATORIUS (Jequirity) seed or root for separately specified in this Schedule.
