Podiatrists Amendment Regulations 2009

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

1436 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, WA 1 May 2009

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Podiatrists Regulations 2006.

4.           Regulation 7 amended

(1) In regulation 7(1) delete paragraph (c) and insert:

(c) Doctor of Clinical Podiatry from the University

of Western Australia.

(2) Delete regulation 7(2) and insert:

(2) For the purposes of the Act section 30(2)(b), the

following qualifications are prescribed qualifications

for the speciality of podiatric physician —

(a)	Master of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia;
(b)	Doctor of Clinical Podiatry from the University of Western Australia;
(c)	Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia.
