PODIATRISTS ACT 1989—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Podiatrists Act 1989, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 28 February 1992.

Amendments

2. The Podiatrists Regulation 1990 is amended:

(a)

by omitting from clause 5 (2) the matter “$16” and by inserting instead the matter “$20”;

(b)

by omitting from clause 8 the matter “$11” and by inserting instead the matter “$12”;

(c)

by omitting from clause 9 the matter “$220” and by inserting instead the matter “$230”;

(d)

by omitting from clause 12 the matter “$6” and by inserting instead the matter “$10”;

(e)

by omitting from clause 13 (1) the matter “$110” and by inserting instead the matter “$115”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Podiatrists Regulation 1990 so as

to increase certain fees relating to:

(a) the issue of a duplicate certificate of registration as a podiatrist; and

(b)

the entry of additional qualifications or certain other matters in, the restoration of a podiatrist’s name to, or the provision of an extract from, the register of podiatrists; and

(c) the annual roll fee payable by podiatrists.
