Plumbing Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2009

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under section 233 of the Building Act 2000 .14 December 2009

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Plumbing Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2009 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Plumbing Regulations 2004 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation) Regulation 3(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after the definition of drainage flood level the following definition: educational institution means – (a) a school within the meaning of the Education Act 1994 ; or (b) a campus of the Tasmanian Academy established by the Education and Training (Tasmanian Academy) Act 2008 ; or (c) a campus of the Tasmanian Polytechnic established by the Education and Training (Tasmanian Polytechnic) Act 2008 ; 5Regulation 54 amended (Water temperature control devices) Regulation 54 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting "primary or secondary school" and substituting "educational institution"; (b) by omitting "on" and substituting "in".
