I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 3(2B) of the Plumbers and Gas-fitters Registration Act 1951 .24 November 2008

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Plumbers and Gas-fitters Registration Order 2008 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3Principal ActIn this order, the Plumbers and Gas-fitters Registration Act 1951 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 3 amended (Plumbers and Gas-fitters Registration Board) Section 3(2)(b) of the Principal Act is amended by omitting "Tasmanian Branch of the Plumbing Division of the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia" and substituting "Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia".
