s1 2 s5 Plant Protection (White Blister of Brassica) Notice No. 177, 2002 2002 1 Short title This notice may be cited as the Plant Protection (White Blister of Brassica) Notice 2002 . 2 Definitions In this notice— “pest quarantine area” means the pest quarantine area declared under section 4. “white blister of brassica” means Albugo candida (Pers.) Kuntze. 3 Pest declaration—Act, s 4(2) White blister of brassica is declared to be a pest for the Act. 1 4 Declaration of pest quarantine area For section 11(1) 2 of the Act, the whole of Queensland is declared to be a pest quarantine area for white blister of brassica. 5 Objects of quarantine The objects of the quarantine for the pest quarantine area are— (a) to prevent the introduction into Queensland of white blister of brassica; and (b) to prevent its spread in Queensland; and (c) to control or remove pest infestation of white blister of brassica in the pest quarantine area. 1 This notice remains in force until whichever of the following first happens— (a) the commencement of a replacement regulation; (b) the end of 21 days. s6 3 s6 Plant Protection (White Blister of Brassica) Notice No. 177, 2002 2002 6 Restrictions on introduction A person must not, without an inspector’s approval, introduce into Queensland— (a) white blister of brassica; or (b) a plant infested with white blister of brassica; or (c) a plant of the genus Brassica spp. ENDNOTES 1.
