s1 2 s2 Plant Protection (Fireblight) No. 121, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This notice may be cited as the Plant Protection (Fireblight) Notice 1997 . ˙ Control over introduction of pests—Act, s 8(1) 2.(1) The introduction into Queensland of a plant in the schedule is prohibited. (2) Subsection (1) does not apply if a plant is accompanied by a certificate that states the plant was grown, packed and stored in a fireblight free area. (3) The certificate must be made by the grower or packer of the plant. (4) In this section— “fireblight free area” means an area of a State that has been certified as free of fireblight by the department of government responsible for administering matters relating to agriculture in the State.
