s1 2 s3 Plant Protection (Banana Black Sigatoka) No. 200, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This notice may be cited as the Plant Protection (Banana Black Sigatoka) Notice 2000 . 1 ˙ Definitions 2. In this notice— “banana plant” means a plant of the genera Musa or Ensete . “pest area” means the area within a 50 km radius of the point at latitude 16°12.30' south and longitude 145°17.80' east. ˙ Restriction on moving fruit of banana plants 3. A person must not, without an inspector’s approval, move fruit of a banana plant— (a) into the pest area; or (b) from a parcel of land in the pest area to another parcel of land in the area; or (c) out of the pest area.
