s1 2 s5 Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2003 No. 211, 2003 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2003 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 12 September 2003. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Plant Protection Regulation 2002. 4 Amendment of s 106 (Definitions for div 1) (1) Section 106, definition “bureau chief executive”— omit. (2) Section 106, definition “clearance certificate”, ‘bureau’— omit. 5 Insertion of new s 118A After section 118— insert— ‘118A Restriction on planting and cultivating non-approved sugarcane variety ‘A person must not, without an inspector’s approval, plant or cultivate in a pest quarantine area a variety of sugarcane that is not, under section 11A 1 of the Act, declared by the chief executive to be an approved plant variety for planting or cultivating in the area. 2 ’. 1 Section 11A (Approved plant variety) of the Act 2 See the Plant Protection (Approved Sugarcane Varieties) Declaration 2003 .
