Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2009 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2009 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Plant Protection Regulation 2002. 3 Amendment of s 17 (Definitions for pt 1) Section 17, definition pest banana plant , paragraph (a)(ii), ‘plant.’— omit, insert— ‘plant; or’. 4 Amendment of s 37 (Keeping land free of weeds and other plants) Section 37(b), ‘reasonable’— omit, insert— ‘reasonably’. 5 Amendment of s 77 (Objects of quarantine) Section 77(c), ‘section 76(a)’— omit, insert— ‘section 76(1)’. 6 Amendment of sch 1 (Prescribed pests) Schedule 1, part 1, under the heading ‘Insects and mites’— insert— ‘mango fruit borer Citripestis eutraphera (Meyrick)’.
