s1 2 s3 Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2004 No. 4, 2004 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2004 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Plant Protection Regulation 2002. 3 Replacement of s 98 (Introduction of restricted item) Section 98— omit, insert— ‘98 Introduction of restricted item (1) A person must not introduce a restricted item into Queensland if the restricted item has been in a potato pest area unless— (a) an inspector has given approval; and (b) if the approval is given on conditions, the person has complied with the conditions. (2) An inspector may give an approval under subsection (1) only if the inspector is satisfied the introduction of the restricted item will not pose a significant risk of introducing potato pest into Queensland.’.
