s1 2 s3 Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2004 No. 4, 2004 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Plant Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2004 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Plant Protection Regulation 2002. 3 Replacement of s 98 (Introduction of restricted item) Section 98— omit, insert— ‘98 Introduction of restricted item ‘ (1) A person must not introduce a restricted item into Queensland if the restricted item has been in a potato pest area unless— (a) an inspector has given approval; and (b) if the approval is given on conditions, the person has complied with the conditions. ‘ (2) An inspector may give an approval under subsection (1) only if the inspector is satisfied the introduction of the restricted item will not pose a significant risk of introducing potato pest into Queensland.’.
