PLANT HEALTH (FEES) REGULATIONS 2012

Regulations under the Plant Health Act 2008

1Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Plant Health (Fees) Regulations 2012.

2Fees

Schedule 1 prescribes the fees payable under the Act.

3Exemption, waiver or refund of fees

The Chief Inspector may, if the Chief Inspector considers it appropriate, in relation to a prescribed fee:

  • (a)

    exempt payment of the fee; or

  • (b)

    waive (wholly or partly) payment of the fee; or

  • (c)

    refund (wholly or partly) the fee.

Additional fee if travel is required to engage in the inspection or audit required (minimum ½ hour, and maximum 3 hours, per inspection or audit)

Additional fee if the inspection or audit is required to be carried out as overtime or emergency duty

in accordance with the rates and times specified in By‑Law 37 of the Public Sector Employment and Management By-Laws as in force from time to time
