AN ACT to amend Section four of the Plant Diseases

(Registration Fees) Act, 1941.

[Assented to 30th October, 1944.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. This Act may be cited as the Plant Diseases (Re- Short title

gistration Fees) Act Amendment Act, 1944, and shall be

read as one with the Plant Diseases (Registration Fees)

Act, 1941 (No. 33 of 1941), hereinafter referred to as the

principal Act.

S. This Act shall commence on the first day of July,	Commence-

3. Section four of the principal Act is amended as Amendment ofs. 4,

follows :—

(a)	by deleting from subsection (1) the words "one shilling and sixpence" in line ten of the sub- section, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "two shillings."
(b)	by deleting from paragraph (B) of the proviso to subsection (1) the words "two pounds ten shillings" in the last line of the said para- graph, and inserting in lieu thereof the words "three pounds."
