Plant Diseases Amendment Regulations

(No. 5) 2006

Regulations 1989*.

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Plant Diseases Amendment
Regulations (No. 5) 2006.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2006.

3.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Plant Diseases

4.            Regulation 19P amended

Regulation 19P is amended as follows:

(a)	in subregulation (1)(a) by deleting "$100" and inserting instead -
" $103
(b)	in subregulation (1)(b) by deleting "$40." and inserting instead -
" $41.25.
(c)	in subregulation (2) by deleting "$40." and inserting instead -
" $41.25. ".

5.           Schedule 2 replaced

Schedule 2 is repealed and the following Schedule is inserted instead -

1.     General inspection inside normal or shift hours -

(a) at an inspection point (other than for Nursery stock),

per 15 minute unit 32.75

(b)	at an inspection point for Nursery stock, per
15 minute unit 33.75
(c)	away from an inspection point -

other than for Nursery stock, per 15 minute unit

within 2 hours from the commencement of the

inspection 41 .25

for Nursery stock, per 15 minute unit within

2 hours from the commencement of the

inspection 42.25

for each additional contiguous 15 minute unit

beyond 2 hours for the rest of the working period 32.75

PLUS an additional service charge when the inspection is

more than 50 km away from an inspection point 101.00

2.     General inspection contiguous with normal or shift hours -

(a) at an inspection point, per 15 minute unit 43.25

(b) away from an inspection point -

per 15 minute unit within 2 hours from the

commencement of the inspection	57.50
for each additional contiguous 15 minute unit
beyond 2 hours for the rest of the working period	43.25

PLUS an additional service charge when the inspection is

more than 50 km away from an inspection point 128.00

Fees

Call out, inspection and travel outside normal or shift hours —

(a) at an inspection point —

for the first 2 hours (minimum fee)	320.00
for each additional 15 minute unit	49.50

(b) away from an inspection point —

for the first 2 hours (minimum fee)	430.00
for each additional 15 minutes	64.00

PLUS an additional service charge when the inspection is

more than 50 km away from an inspection point 128.00

4.	Documentation assessment fee	19.00
5.	Laboratory analysis of plants	57.00
