Plant Diseases Amendment Regulations

(No. 5) 2004

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Plant Diseases
Amendment Regulations (NO. 5) 2004.

The amendments in these regulations are to the Plant Diseases
Regulations 1989*.

3.             Schedule 1 amended

(1) Schedule 1 Part B item 38 is amended by deleting "To be" and

inserting instead

(2) At the end of Schedule 1 Part B item 38 the following sub-item
is inserted -

"

(2) This condition does not apply to aseptic cultures of plant
material grown on agar in sealed flasks (i.e. tissue culture).

(3) Schedule 1 Part B item 39 is amended by deleting "When" and
inserting instead-

"

(1) Subject to sub-item (2), when

(4) At the end of Schedule I Part B item 39 the following sub-item
is inserted -

"

(2) This condition does not apply to aseptic cultures of plant
material grown on agar in sealed flasks (i.e. tissue culture).

(5) Schedule 1 Part B item 41 is amended by deleting "The entry"
and inserting instead -

"

(I) Subject to sub-item (2), the entry

(6) At the end of Schedule 1 Part B item 41 the following sub-item
is inserted -

(2) This condition does not apply to aseptic cultures of plant
material grown on agar in sealed flasks (i.e. tissue culture).

(7) Schedule 1 Part B item 47 is amended by deleting "Entry" and
inserting instead -

(8)	At the end of Schedule 1 Part B item 47 the following sub-item is inserted -

(9)	Schedule 1 Part B item 52 is amended by deleting "The entry" and inserting instead -
