PLANT DISEASES AMENDMENT REGULATIONS (NO. 5) 1994

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Plant Diseases Amendment

Regulations (No. 5) 1994.

Schedule 1 amended

2.      Schedule 1 to the Plant Diseases Regulations 1989* is amended —

in Part A in the item commencing "Jackfruit" in column 5 by

(a) deleting "4," and substituting the following —
"	4/50	"; and

(b) in Part B after item 49 by adding the following item

50. The -;onditions of entry into the State for Jackfruit (fruit) from any other State or Territory are that the fruit is allowed into the State only if —

the skin of the fruit is unbroken;

(a)	and
(b)	each individual fruit is inspected, and certified as having unbroken

skin, by an authorized officer of the Department of Agriculture in the State or Territory in which the fruit originated.
