PLANT DISEASES AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1995
Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.
Citation
1. These regulations may be cited as the Plant Diseases Amendment
Regulations 1995.
Schedule 1 amended
2. Schedule 1 to the Plant Diseases Regulations 1989* is amended —
(a) in Part A by inserting an item after the item commencing
"Lucerne" in the following manner —
(i) in column 1 by inserting the following —
r).

(ii) in column 2 by inserting the following —
" 51 ";and in column 4 by inserting the following — 51
and
(b) in Part B by inserting in the appropriate numerical order the
following item —51. Lupin plant and seed Lupin Anthracnose and
Fusarium Wilt
To be —
(1)
certified by an officer of the Department of Agriculture (or its equivalent) from the exporting State, Territory or Country as being grown in a State, Territory or Country which is free from lupin attacking strains of —
(a) the fungus Anthracnose (Colletotrichum
gloeosporioides); and
(b) Fusarium Wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f lupini);
Or
(2)
approved by the Director-General, Department of Agriculture, Western Australia, to be grown in post-entry quarantine, screened for disease, and found to be free from lupin attacking strains of the fungus Anthracnose (Colletotriehum gloeosporioides) and Fusarium Wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f lupini) prior to the release of progeny.
