To amend the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934-1938.

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Plant Diseases short title and
| Ordinance (No. 2) 1938. | cltatio"' |
| (2.) Sub-section (3.) of section one of the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1938 is repealed. | |
| (3.) The Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934-1936, as amended by the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1938, is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance. | |
| (4.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934-1938. | |
| 2. Section five of the Principal Ordinance is amended— | Definitions. |
(a) by inserting before the definition of "Disease" the
following definition:—
" ' Director-General' means the Director-General
| Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at |
of Works;"; and
(b) by omitting the definitions of "Minister" and
" Secretary ".
