AN ACT to amend the Plant Diseases Act, 1914-1973.

[Assented to 19th September, 1974.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Plant

This Act shall come into operation on a date

to be fixed by proclamation.

Section 4

Section 4 of the principal Act is amended by

deleting the interpretation "Under Secretary".

Section 120

amended.

Subsection (1) of section 12C of the principal Act is amended by deleting item (I) of subpara- graph (v) of paragraph (d) and substituting the following item

(I) fix the scale of charges for the baiting or spraying carried out by or on behalf of the Committee, which charges shall not exceed the amounts prescribed in the Schedule to this Act; .
