No. 7 of 1969.

AN ACT to amend the Plant Diseases Act, 1914-1967.

[Assented to 6th May, 1969.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

Short title

and citation. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Plant

Diseases Act Amendment Act, 1969.

2. Subsection (1) of section twelve B is ,;torrnianent

(a) by substituting for the word, "twenty-one, rag Lamstered

in line six, the word, "twenty-eight"; and 1)1rocl,!;Laken.)

(b) by substituting for the word, "six", in line six, the word, "eight".

3. Subsection (1) of section twelve C is flornsmitent

amended—	under	(Power•
certain cir-

(a)

as to subparagraph (iv) of paragraph (d) gizAtfsa by adding after the passage, "determine,", committee.)

in line ten, the words, "in such manner

and"; and

(b)

by adding after paragraph (d) a paragraph as follows-

(da) The Committee shall-

(i)    cause to be kept substantial and accurate records of its receipts and expenditure; and

(ii)    in respect of the receipts and expenditure, present audited accounts and a balance sheet to the Minister at the end of each financial year which for the purposes of this paragraph is from the 1st September in one year to the 31st August in the following year. .
