AN ACT to amend the Plant Diseases Act, 1914-1956.
[Assented to 29th September, 1958.]
BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent
of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Incorporation Act, 1938, and as further amended by Acts Nos. 25 of 1946, 35 of 1947, 3 and 11 of 1949, 3 of 1950, 45 of 1952, 57 of 1954 and 4 of 1956,
is referred to as the principal Act.
(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act
may be cited as the Plant Diseases Act, 1914-1958.
2. This Act shall come into operation on a day cent ence-
to be fixed by proclamation.
3. Section eight of the principal Act is amended- —tended.
| (a) | by substituting for the passage, "applied for annually on or before the first day of July in each year, and shall have effect for one year:" in lines two and three of subsection (3), the passage, "made at the times and for the periods prescribed."; and |
| (b) | by repealing the proviso to subsection (3). |
