AN ACT to amend the Plant Diseases Aet, 1914.
[Assented to 24th September, 1925.]

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows :—
| Short title. | This Act may be cited as the Plant Diseases Act |

Insertion Of new
| section after Sec. 8. | 2. There is hereby inserted in the Plant Diseases Act, |
1914, after section eight thereof, a new section as follows :-

| out treatment for | 8a. (1) Whenever any disease to which this section applies exists or appears in any orchard, the occupier of the orchard shall take or cause to be taken such steps, and adopt such measures, as are prescribed as appropriate steps to be taken, and measures to be adopted, in order to eradicate such disease and prevent the spread thereof. |

Penalty : Twenty-five pounds.
(2) The diseases to which this section applies are such diseases as are for the time declared by any regulation to be subject to the provisions of this section.
Reprinting of
| principal Act with | 3. All copies of the principal Act hereafter printed by the Government Printer shall be printed as amended by this Act, under the supervision of the Clerk of Parliaments, and all necessary reference to the Act shall be made in the margin, and in any such reprint the short title shall be the Plant Diseases Act, 1914-1925. |
