AN ORDINANCE
To amend the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934.
BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Govern-
ment (Administration) Act 1910-1938, as follows:— 1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Plant Diseases Snort title and

(2.) The Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934 is in this Ordinance
referred to as the Principal Ordinance.
(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance,
may be cited as the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934-1936.
2. Section five of the Principal Ordinance is amended— Deanitions. (a) by omitting the definition of "Director-General";
(b) by omitting from the definition of " Minister " the word
" Health " and inserting in its stead the words " the
Interior " ; and
(c) by inserting after the definition of " se l l " the following
definition:—
" ' the Secretary ' means the Secretary, Department
Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at of the Interior; ".
omitting the word " Director-General" and inserting in its stead lusPector- 3. Section seven of the Principal Ordinance is amended by powers ot the word " Secretary ".
