Plant Disease Amendment Regulations
(No. 4) 1999
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations may be cited as the Plant Disease Amendment
Regulations (No. 4) 1999.2. The regulations amended Regulations 1989*.

hybrids
(1) Part A of Schedule 1 is amended after the item commencing
"Amelanchier spp." by inserting the following item —44
Annona spp. and 13,17, 29,31, 16 11,
Annona sp. 29,31, 41,52, 4/7/9C, hybrids ............ 41, 45, 55 31,41, 52, 55 52, 55
(2) Part A of Schedule 1 is amended by deleting the item
commencing "Custard apple ...." and inserting the following
item instead —44
Custard apple ... see Annona
spp. and
Annona sp.

(3) Part B of Schedule 1 is amended as follows:
(a) in items 4, 4A, 4B, 4C, 5, 7, 9A, 9B, 9C, 9D, 9E, 9F, 9H and 91 by deleting "B. aquilonis,"; (b) in item 9 by deleting ", B. aquilonis"; (c) in subitems 9C(1), 9D(1), 9E(1), 9F(1), 9H(1)and 91(1) by deleting "and B. aquilonis"; (d) after item 10 by inserting the following item — 44
11. Annona spp. and Annona sp. hybrids —Fruit fly
(B. tryoni, B. neohumeralis, B. papayae and
B. philippinensis)To be certified as having been pre-harvest treated, each
individual fruit inspected and found free from
broken skin, and graded and packed under a qualityassurance system approved by the Director General.
