Part 1—Preliminary
1—Short title
These regulations may be cited as the Planning, Development and Infrastructure (General) (Temporary Accommodation) Amendment Regulations 2022.
2—Commencement
These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

Schedule 6—after clause 14 insert:
15—Temporary accommodation for seasonal workers
(1)The construction or placement of a temporary building or structure on land within a designated area to be used as temporary accommodation by persons employed or engaged in seasonal work within the region in which the designated area is located.
(2)In this clause—
designated area has the same meaning as in Schedule 6A clause 1.
4—Insertion of Schedule 6A
After Schedule 6 insert:
Schedule 6A—Accepted development
1—Temporary accommodation for seasonal workers
(1)The construction or placement of a temporary building or structure on land within a designated area to be used as temporary accommodation by persons employed or engaged in seasonal work within the region in which the designated area is located.
(2)In this clause—
designated area means an area designated by the Chief Executive for the purposes of this clause by notice published on the SA planning portal, but does not include an area or place within the Local Heritage Place Overlay or State Heritage Place Overlay under the Planning and Design Code.
