Planning and Environment Amendment (Objectors Review Timing) Regulations 2018

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Planning and Environment Regulations 2015 to clarify the time within which an objector is able to apply for review of a decision of the responsible authority under section 82 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 202 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

1 July 2018.

4Substitution of regulation 35

For regulation 35 of the Planning and Environment Regulations 2015[1] substitute—

"35   Application by objector for review under section 82

An application under section 82(1) of the Act for review of a decision by the responsible authority must be made within 28 days after the date of notice of that decision.".
