Planning and Development (Local Government

Planning Fees) Amendment Regulations 2008

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Planning and Development (Local Government Planning Fees) Amendment Regulations 2008.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows:

(a)

regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Planning and
Development (Local Government Planning Fees)
Regulations 2000.

4.             Schedule 1 amended

(1) Schedule 1 Part 1 is repealed and the following Part is inserted
instead —

Part 1 Maximum fixed fees

Determining a development application where the development has not commenced or been carried out and the estimated cost of the development is —

(a) not more than $50 000 $127
(b) more than $50 000 but not more 0.29% of the estimated

(2) Schedule 1 Parts 2 and 3 are amended as follows:
(a) by deleting “$74” in each place where it occurs and inserting instead —

(b) by deleting “$55” in each place where it occurs and inserting instead —

(c) by deleting “$31” in each place where it occurs and inserting instead —

$32 ”;

(d) by deleting “$25” in each place where it occurs and inserting instead —

$26 ”.
