Plaintiff S73/2018 v Honourable Justice Rares

Case

[2018] HCASL 378

PLAINTIFF S73/2018

v

HONOURABLE JUSTICE RARES & ORS

[2018] HCASL 378
S271/2018

  1. The applicant requires an extension of time in which to seek leave to appeal from a judgment of Gageler J that the applicant's application for certiorari to quash orders made by Rares J in the Federal Court of Australia be dismissed.  There is no reason to doubt the correctness of Gageler J's judgment and thus an extension of time would be futile.

  2. Pursuant to r 41.08.1 of the High Court Rules 2004 (Cth), we direct the Registrar to draw up, sign and seal an order dismissing the application for leave to appeal.
