PIPELINES ACT 1967—REGULATION

(Relating to licence fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Pipelines Act 1967, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 February 1992.

Amendment

2. The Pipelines Regulations 1968 are mended by inserting after

Regulation 8 the following regulation:

Licence fees

9. For the purposes of section 34 (1) of the Act, $308 is the

prescribed amount.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The purpose of the Regulation is to prescribe $300 as the maximum annual licence fee payable under the Pipelines Act 1967 to operate a pipeline. Formerly, the maximum amount of the fee was $200, as specified in that Act. Consequent on the enactment of the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act (No. 2) 1991, the

amount is now to be prescribed by regulation.
