AN ACT to amend the Pinjarra-Dwarda Railway

Extension Act, 1914.

[Assented to 23rd November, 1923.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:-

1.    This Act may be cited as the Pinjarra-Dwarda Railway Short title

Extension Act Amendment Act, 1923, and shall be read as one with the Pinjarra-Dwarda Railway Extension Act, 1914, here- inafter referred to as the principal Act.

2. Section three of the principal Act is repealed d , and a section e f

section is inserted in place thereof, as follows:-

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Public Works Act, 1902, it shall be lawful for the Minister for 1Vorks to deviate from the line as described in the Seim- chile to this Act, on the southerly side of the line to the extent of two miles for the first sixteen miles, and to the extent of one mile after the first sixteen miles to the ter- minus, and on the northerly side of the line to the extent of five miles for the first twenty-five miles, decreasing from the twenty-fifth to the thirtieth mile from five miles to one mile, and from the thirtieth mile to the terminus to deviate to the extent of one mile. 3. The Schedule to the principal Act is amended by sub- Amendment of

stituting "P.W.D., WA., 22269," in place of "P.W.D., W.A.,

17916."

4.    Subject as aforesaid, the provisions of the Public Works Incorporation of

Ed wardVII.,No.

Act, 1902, are incorporated with the principal Act as amended 47.

by this Act.
